ISAAC'S LIVESTRONG STORY.......

In 2006 my Nanny was diagnosed with a late stage cancer and she survived and then.... 

LIVESTRONG is making a difference in the fight against cancer, for my Nanny, and other friends and relatives who have been affected by this disease!

I created TEAMNANNY when I was six years old. I had an idea.  I took my LIVESTRONG wristband that matched my Nanny’s when we did a cancer walk together called the "Underwear Affair" and asked her to promise me that we would ALWAYS be a team to help people with cancer! We worked on that project and that is how #TEAMNANNY came to be.  We still are a team and now TEAMNANNY is a brand of it's own, and is a registered Canadian Trademark.

My Nanny loves all the kids on TEAMNANNY to the end of the universe and back and I love her that much too.  I love her even more.   Until now we were just able to support LIVESTRONG by wearing all our LIVESTRONG clothes.... and telling people what LIVESTRONG does to help people with cancer NOW!.  

In 2014 Nanny became a Volunteer LIVESTRONG Leader and now she gets to volunteer with people from around the world to help people affected by cancer.  They all signed a jersey for me when she went to the 2014 Leaders assembly.  I LOVED IT!! I  proudly wore it in support of LIVESTRONG!  But then I grew! And in 2016 she came home with a jersey that was an XXL.  

Now I prouldy wear it as a new Volunteer LIVESTRONG Leader.  It is cool to have the whole world on your back.  I will honor them this year as I beging this new chapter in the fight agaist cancer.

This year we are helping LIVESTRONG & Canadian local cancer organizations as well.  We did amazing last year... with your help, we will do even better this year!  Your support of my efforts greatly appreciated.

LIVESTRONG serves people affected by cancer and empowers them to take action against this disease that is now the world's leading cause of death.  LIVESTRONG has become a symbol of hope and inspiration to people affected by cancer around the world.  We want that hope and knowledge to continue!
